I introduce about a recipe of Hijiki no nimono (the boiled brown alga) for Trine who can’t eat meat and fish. A brown alga has a lot of nourishment. For example, it has many dietary fiber, iron and calcium. A brown alga has calcium about 12 times more than milk. This dish is very healthy and delicious.

▼Ingredient (For four people)
・50g brown alga
・carrots
・1deep-fried bean curd
・lotus root
・a few string bean
・1/2cup soybean
・1tablespoon salad oil
・3tablespoon soy souse
・3tablespoon sweet
・2cup water

First, steep a brown alga in water and cut it to 4-5cm length.
Chop fried bean curd and carrot, cut a lotus root into round slices thinly. Then steep them to water.
Second, poor salad oil into a pan and add a brown alga, fried bean curd, carrots soy beans and fry them.
Next, add soy sauce, sweet sake and water, then stew it for about 7-8minutes. Add lotus roots and boil it more.
Finally, put sheath peas which boiled and chopped on the top.
